Monsoon Kids Labs are inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. Loris Malaguzzi, the main figure of the Reggio approach, said that a child has ''A hundred languages''. He described the expressive capacity of a child able to use many expressive languages at a time and believed that the educator had the responsability to give the space to grow the dominant language of each child, letting them experiment all ways of interaction. The reggio approach encourages the quest of a poetic language to guide a child into discovering the world. Participation is an other key element for the method. It helps the awareness of solidarity, responsibility, inclusion, intercultural enrichment. Sensory play and Open-ended plays are chosen to increase the hollistic learning, natural inclination of the child to play with loose parts, which enhances the creativity and problem-solving skills of the child.
